Paradigm Proposal for the Davies Property
4131 Chain Bridge Road

 

Introduction​​​​​​​​

On July 22nd, City Council voted to approve the motions before it to rezone the Davies Property from RM Residential Medium to CU Commercial Urban; approve the general development plan for an upper-story mixed-use building of 276 multifamily units and 10,796 square feet of retail, office or other commercial uses on the ground floor; and approve the special exceptions for the property at 4131 Chain Bridge Road.

City Council members Bates, Amos, and Chandler-Hall voted in favor; McQuillen, Hall, and Peterson voted against.  With the vote 3-3, Mayor Read voted in favor to break the tie.

Thank you to all the residents who took the time to speak out at the City Council meeting or to send comments on the Proposal to City Council before the meeting.
